Strengthening Partnerships for Excellence in Public Service

The Principal Secretary of the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, today welcomed a delegation from the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM), led by Secretary General, Prof. George Scott, during a courtesy visit to her office.

The meeting focused on deepening collaboration between the State Department and AAPAM to enhance public service delivery, drive performance, and boost productivity across the continent.

AAPAM stands as a leading continental organization dedicated to promoting excellence in public administration and management. Through its work in research, training, conferences, and knowledge-sharing platforms, the association has played a pivotal role in shaping effective governance systems in Africa.

With nearly five decades of experience, AAPAM continues to unite governments, academia, the private sector, civil society, and emerging professionals in a shared mission to build responsive, efficient, and transformative public institutions.
