Public Participation Exercise on the Public Service HRM&D bill held in Mombasa County.

Public Participation Exercise on the Public Service HRM&D bill has taken place today in  Mombasa County.  During the exercise matters pertaining to recruitment, training, promotion and discipline of public servants dominated the national dialogue currently taking place on the Public Service Human Resource Management and Development Bill, 2024 and the Training Revolving Fund Regulations, 2024.

The bill seeks to provide an over-arching framework to enhance human resource management and development in the country. During the exercise, participants drawn from the counties of Mombasa, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Lamu & Tana River Counties converged at the Mombasa Regional Headquarters, Mombasa County, where they gave their submissions on the bill & and  regulations for consideration.

This exercise is being coordinated by senior officials in  the Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital Development.  The team earlier  paid a courtesy calls to  the Coast Regional Commissioner Ms. Rhoda Onyancha and the Mombasa County Commissioner Mr. Mohammed Noor Hassan. The exercise  which has been ongoing  countrywide for two weeks  comes to a close today
