PS Amos Gathecha launches KISM services in Huduma Centres

Public Service & Human Capital Development PS Amos Gathecha, has today officially launched Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) services in select Huduma Centres, with the inaugural event taking place at the Machakos Huduma Centre.  

This milestone initiative brings essential KISM services closer to professionals in the supply chain sector and the general public, enhancing convenience and accessibility. Through integration into the Huduma Centre, individuals and organizations can now seamlessly access a range of KISM services, including:  

- Membership registration and renewal  
- Certification and licensing services  
- Information on Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs  
- General inquiries and support  

During the launch, PS Gathecha called on Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) that have not yet deployed their services in the 58 Huduma Centres countrywide to leverage the expertise of Huduma Kenya’s Universal Agents. These trained personnel are equipped to offer multiple services on behalf of MDAs, ensuring efficiency in service delivery.  

He also announced the rollout of Sub-County and Constituency Huduma Centres across the country, aligning with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and Kenya Vision 2030. This expansion aims to extend government services closer to citizens at the grassroots level.  

The event was attended by KISM Council Member, the CEO of Huduma Kenya,  Machakos Deputy County Commissioner, as well as staff from Huduma Kenya and KISM.
