Hon. J.B. Muturi launches Huduma Customer Service Week at Nairobi's GPO Centre.
Hon. Justin B. Muturi CS for Public Service, has officially launched Huduma Customer Service Week at the Huduma Kenya GPO Centre Nairobi, recognizing the staff as key custodians of the Huduma Culture and champions of exceptional service delivery. To realize the One-Stop-Shop vision, the CS, urged all Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Counties to integrate their services within Huduma Centres, ensuring equitable access for every Kenyan.
For those lacking staff, CS encouraged MDAC to take advanatage of the Huduma Kenya Universal Agent, who will be trained to provide various government services on behalf of these entities. The CS also highlighted enhancements to the Huduma Contact and Tele-Counselling Centre, which can now handle more citizen queries. He invited citizens to dial 1919 for comprehensive support and free counseling, eliminating the need for in-person visits.
To further improve access to government services, the CS emphasized ongoing collaboration with relevant agencies and announced discussions being underway with the Director General of the National Transport and Safety Authority to roll out complete services in the remaining 42 Huduma Centres soon.
The CS was accompanied by Principal Secretary for Public Service Mr Amos Gathecha, and Huduma Kenya CEO, Mr. Ben Kai Chilumo. # Happy Customer Service Week!
