Launch of the 53rd Huduma centre at Makutano town.

Laikipia East residents and those from the neighbouring constituencies have a reason to smile after the launch of the 53rd Huduma centre at Makutano town earlier today.
The centre whose establishment and operationalization was made possible through a collaboration between the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) and Huduma Kenya Secretariat will enable residents from Laikipia East and its environs access Government services closer home inline with the Governments Bottom Up Economic Agenda (BETA).
Laikipia East, Makutano Huduma centre is a model in the 290 expansion plan to the sub-county level.
The launch will see wananchi access service i.e, Birth certificates, Death certificates, Duplicate ID cards, Higher Educations Loans Board services, Affirmative Action Funds, NSSF, NHIF among other many services offered at Huduma centres.
Today's launch was presided over by Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua who was accompanied by area MP Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri, State Department for Public Service Principal Secretary Mr. Amos Gathecha and Huduma Kenya Ag. CEO Mr. Mugambi Njeru  among other officials.
