Director general presides over the signing of performance contracts of the NYS units commanding officers.

DIRECTOR GENERAL PRESIDES OVER THE SIGNING OF PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS OF THE NYS UNITS COMMANDING OFFICERS.
The Ag. Director General Mr. James Tembur, MBS led the Commanding Officers from the twenty-two NYS Units, in the signing of performance contracts (PC’s) for the fiscal year 2023/2024 at the NYS headquarters Nairobi.
PC’s are roadmaps for setting targets that helps the Service in achieving its mandate. During the signing, the Ag. Director General reiterated the need to uphold professionalism in handling resources of the Service and adherence to the law as the Commanders work towards achieving the set targets.
He encouraged the Commanding Officers to be creative and innovative in their programs and activities in order to ensure an all-inclusive growth of the Field Units. The Commanding Officers pledged to work tirelessly with the magical teams under their command in ensuring the targets stipulated in their performance contracts are met.
They also gave an inspiring progress report of the Greening Kenya Campaign, where most of the units have already achieved their targets of propagating tree seedlings that forms part of the 50 million trees that the Service committed to plant this financial year. #hudumakwataifa #TowardsASustainableWorld #greeningarmy
