BRIEFING BY THE SALARIES AND RENUMERATION COMMITTEE
Today, I hosted Mrs. Lyn C. Mengich, Chairperson of the  Salaries and Renumeration Commission and her fellow Commissioners at my Harambee House office.
The Commission briefed me on various issues touching on the public service key among them being the resolutions reached during the 3rd National Wage Bill Conference.
Their report touched on the important milestones reached so far, and the pending goals towards the realization of an efficient, skillful, ethical  and professional public service.
Importantly, the SRC’s report emphasized on the need for a cultural transformation that embraces critical values such as integrity and ethics within the public service which have been lacking in some levels.
Together with my technical team at the Ministry of Public Service, I am committed to ensure that we implement the resolutions of this year’s National Wage Bill Conference.
