PS Dr. Imbunya Holds Consultative Meeting on Public Service Payroll Audit

This evening, Public Service and Human Capital Development Principal Secretary, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, held a consultative meeting on the ongoing Public Service Payroll Audit conducted by the Office of the Internal Auditor General.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including Internal Auditor General Dr. Sammy Kimunguyi, and officers from the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary and the National Treasury.

Discussions focused on the audit process, progress made, and the expectations from the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary to ensure efficiency, accountability, and integrity in payroll management.

Dr. Imbunya reaffirmed the State Department’s commitment to strengthening payroll controls and promoting transparency within the public service for sustainable human capital development.
