Principal Secretary for Public Service, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, today joined His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto in the official launch of the NYOTA Programme at the Mumias Sports Complex in Kakamega County.
During the event, President Ruto unveiled the business support initiative targeting young people across the country. Under the programme, beneficiaries will receive KSh 50,000 in support capital, with the first instalment of KSh 25,000 already disbursed instantly at the press of a button.
The launch attracted a huge turnout, with over 12,000 youth attending the event in Mumias — a clear indicator of the growing interest and anticipation for opportunities that empower young people to venture into enterprise and economic productivity.
