DR. IMBUNYA JOINS HEAD OF PUBLIC SERVICE FOR LAUNCH OF SRC STRATEGIC PLAN 2025/26–2029/30

Today, the Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, joined the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, Mr. Felix Koskei, for the official launch of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) Strategic Plan 2025/26–2029/30, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

In her remarks, Dr. Imbunya commended the SRC for the notable milestones achieved during the five months she has been in office, citing among them the recent salary adjustments for the uniformed services. She underscored the importance of ensuring that the Commission’s programmes and interventions remain impactful, measurable, and time-bound, to foster sustainable management of the national wage bill and promote equity in public sector remuneration.

In attendance were Hon. Justice William Ouko, Judge of the Supreme Court; SRC Chairperson Mr. Sammy Chepkwony; Chairs of Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices; the SRC Board; and senior officials from the Executive, Parliament, Judiciary, and other public institutions.
