Consultative Meeting on the Implementation of WIBA, GPA and Last Expense Held at Harambee House

 

The Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, chaired a consultative meeting on the implementation of WIBA, GPA and Last Expense on 22nd May 2026 at the Harambee House, 11th Floor Boardroom. The meeting brought together representatives from Pioneer general insurance. 

 The session focused on strengthening coordination and improving the management of employee welfare and compensation processes within the public service.

Participants reviewed the implementation progress of the programmes, discussed emerging challenges, and proposed practical measures to enhance efficiency and service delivery. The stakeholders emphasized the importance of collaboration, accountability, and timely information sharing to support effective implementation and improve welfare support systems for public servants across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
